Day 13 · September 13
Everyone is growing at a different pace — including you. Clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with one another and forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Scripture Whisper: Clothe yourself with compassion and patience, making room for one another’s imperfections.
Patience becomes most real when another person is not changing at the pace we prefer. We may be willing to offer grace once, but repeated delays, mistakes, or misunderstandings expose how quickly our compassion runs thin.
God’s patience toward us is not passive approval. It is loving space in which repentance and maturity can grow. We are called to offer that same kind of space to others. Patience remembers that every person is in process—including us.
Making room for grace does not require you to remove wise boundaries or ignore damaging behavior. It means refusing to make irritation your only response. You can speak truth without contempt. You can wait without punishing. You can acknowledge progress even when the work is incomplete. Today, allow someone to be human in your presence. The patience you extend may become the very environment where change takes root.
Read today's Scripture focus and carry its truth into the ordinary moments of your day.
📖 Colossians 3:12–13
“Clothe yourself with compassion and patience, making room for one another’s imperfections.”
Wear PINK today as a reminder: Make room for grace.
🗑️ Write down one impatient expectation you have placed on another person. Crumple the demand that they grow according to your timetable.
✨ Offer one visible expression of patience: listen again, explain calmly, wait without complaining, or acknowledge someone’s progress.
🕐 Patient God, thank You for making room for my growth. Help me offer truth with compassion and give others the grace I continually receive. Amen.
Who needs room to be a person in process around you today?
